Wave Soldering Methods

The wave soldering method or process used depends on the complexity of the product and the throughput.

For complex products and high throughput, a nitrogen process such as the CoN▼2▼Tour wave may be considered to reduce dross and improve the wettability of the solder joint.

If a medium-sized machine is used, the process can be divided into a nitrogen process and an air process.

The user can still process complex boards in an air environment, in which case a corrosive flux can be used, followed by cleaning after soldering, or a low-solid flux can be used, depending on the customer's requirements.
