Reflow Oven Chamber Cleaning Method

After a period of use, the reflow oven chamber contains a large amount of rosin flux residue on the inner wall of the reflow chamber and the cooling zone pipes, which will reduce the heat temperature of the reflow soldering and lead to poor soldering quality. Therefore, the reflow oven chamber needs to be dismantled and cleaned and scrubbed regularly.

Before cleaning the reflow oven chamber, you need to prepare the relevant tools, including spanners, cleaning agents, rubber gloves, spatulas, etc.

 

Cleaning steps and methods

1. Make sure there is no PCBA board in the chamber, turn off the power and wait for 60 minutes.

2. Cool down the temperature to 50 degrees, disconnect the external link of the reflow chamber, turn on the motor of the pneumatic chamber and open the chamber.

3. Disassemble the parts and clean them using the ultrasonic cleaner, and wipe and clean again using the spray can spray cleaner for the non-disassembled parts.

 

Cautions

1. Focus on cleaning the inner wall of the furnace chamber and the cooling area

2. Condenser, recovery tube, reflow soldering can be disassembled parts into the ultrasonic cleaning machine to clean.

3. Furnace cleaning must choose non-corrosive products, corrosive cleaning agents will form corrosion on the metal surface after cleaning and damage the equipment.

4. After cleaning, just air dry directly.

5. Regular cleaning.
